Health & Safety assessments for a Solar PV Install
 

Course Objectives

The Solar Photovoltaic market is a growing market in this country and provides a wide range of opportunities to you as a Photovoltaic installer. Whilst working on a Solar PV Installation, you are required by law to have a basic understand of Health and Safety Legislation; this course has been designed with this in mind, for you to receive knowledge on Work at Height Regs 2005, Electrical Regulations 1989, Manual Handling Regulations, COSHH and Asbestos in the Home.

In order for customers to access these incentives and Feed - In Tariff’s the Installation must be carried out by an accredited installer through the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). The MCS is an independent scheme that certifies Microgeneration products and provides a safe and good level of standard for customers who invest in Solar PV technologies.
